 Happy I have tried to update my phone several times. But I always get the message " USB Device not recognized". Kies Mini works fine. It downloads the update but when the computer tries to install it onto the phone I lose the USB connection. Then today I was poking around on my phone and in the "Download" folder I found two files. One is named TN6.APK and the other is named TN6-1.APK. Is it possible that one of these is the update? The both have 4,922KB in them. I'm not sure if I should run them or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If Kies is not working you could just use Odin to flash the KA6 firmware. If you really want Android 2.2 I would suggest using a custom 2.2 ROM. They are much faster than the official crap that came from Samsung. As for the TN6.apk file... an .apk file is an app. In this case I believe TN6.apk is Telenav.
