Hi ~ I am new to the Vibrant.  I upgraded through Kies to the new firmware, the build # FROYO.UVKA6.  I had the Avatar and some other movies stored on my phone and even the videos I recorded with the camera on my phone when I try to watch them i get a message sorry, this video cannot be played.  When I upgraded I did not have any problems.

Can anyone help?  Not sure if I should reset, or if that would even help since I upgraded the firmware.

OMG I fixed it myself!!  Well I found a fix to it!!

Problem:  Avatar won't play now that I've upgraded to 2.2.  What do I do?

Answer:  This seems to be associated with DRM rights.  One suggestion is to clear the DRM cache.   Some people also have seen this problem go away after performing a factory reset.  See: http://forums.t-mobile.com/t5/Samsung-Vibrant/Avatar/m-p/685089#M52072

There is so much info about this phone.  After I stopped panicking and did some searching I found that link there.  I also turned my phone off and rebooted it before it started working.  My videos play and I can record on the camcorder!!!  Laugh

I had the same problem when i upgraded to the 2.2 Froyo, but Tmobile customer service fix it for me. So you might want to call them and give them a shot, they helped me out.
