I rooted my Vibrant and installed Team Whiskey's Froyo, and have been pretty happy.  Far better than what I had before.  Now I've this constant icon (up at the top) that, when I do the drop-down, wants me to allow T-Mobile to update my phone.

I assume their update won't be as good as what I have now.  I'd like to make that little icon go away.

So, I'm posting here, asking for advice.  Among possibilities:

1.  Just learn to ignore that little icon.

2.  Odin my phone back to stock, then accept the new update from T-Mobile, then see if I like it, and if not then root and re-install Team Whiskey's OS.

3.  ???

Thanks.

3... Download Titanium backup pro version from the market. Then select Backup/Restore. Find Device management 2.0 then select it. Select Freeze!... this will prevent any further OTA updates from T-Mobile. Team Whiskey's ROMS are way better than stock. Trust me!

Already had Titanium Backup Pro, but without your help would have had no idea how to use it to fix this particular problem.  Thanks!!!!!
