Most of you probably know this, but for those who don't, if you upload 2.2 DO NOT do a factory reset on your phone!!!!!!  I did and completely destroyed  mine. (luckily I received a new one from Samsung via my warranty). Just a warning.

It didnt destroy your phone, it just set your version back to eclair but your kernel stayed at 2.2.. so yes it was un-useable.. if you would of just flashed an unbrickable 2.2 using odin then just flashed back to stock it would of fixed it.. instead of waiting the shipping for a new phone..
