After searching around, I can't find a "Tip and Tricks" in this Forum.
So, I thought I'll start this page for all Galaxy S users to browse through quickly.

GREAT list!

The how to take a picture with the front camera tip is misleading as there is no front camera on the Samsung Vibrant, which is the phone everyone in this forum can be presumed to have.

Another tip might be brightness adjustment which can be done by swiping left to right the top notification tab instead of going into any menu. Nice for quick changing outside or in bright light.

Great job!  The swipe across the notification bar for brightness, the swipe info key for cut, paste, and the volume bar for camera zoom are amazing.  These just made my awesome phone 10 times better.

These are not cheats. They're the actual functions that Samsung somehow decided not to print it in the manual.

the canadian version has a front camera.
