If anyone wants a case that will make your precious Vibrant almost indestructable please go to www.otterbox.com and ask them to make one of these great cases for our phones. I have already and am waiting with baited breath. Wink Wink

yes, I had an otterbox on my iphone and it was pretty much indestructable.

I dropped it, kicked it, everything....not a scratch.  Otterbox makes some awesome cases.  I thin Cyclops makes a case similar to otterbox but a better looking desgin....not sure though...

Now, I use smaller cases....BUT OTTERBOX WAS AWESOME!

Otter will only make the Defender if they get enough requests.  It looks like a good case, hope they get enough requests.  Tom

I ordered a Trident Cyclops case and a belt clip from Trident's website.  Got tired of waiting for Otterbox.  Hope I like this case. Undecided

I bought this case for 4 bucks, and it's a tank. I love it.

I posted pictures here...

I got the Cyclops case and belt clip today and have to say my first impression is that I'm impressed.  This case looks and feels like it will protect my Vibrant and survive the long haul.  I bought it from http://www.tridentcase.com/iphone-samsung-motorola-cell-phone-accessories_28.html  I paid 44 bucks for the case and belt clip.  The customer service has been top notch as far as communicating the shipping status.  I have used the phone with the case on some and have a little mark that looks like a smudge but really is not a problem as the case protects and is not noticeable with the screen on.  Some have removed the screen protector due to this but I see no reason to.  My Ipaq pda looked worse right after installing the screen protector that I feel I can live with any smudges because the screen picked up finger prints like mad anyway and this resists them pretty good.  I'm not afraid if I drop my phone anymore.  For this I feel it was worth every penny!

Still happy with the Cyclops case.  One thing I have noticed is that it is easier to connect to the charging port.  It also really makes the phone feel solid and easy to grip.  I can also feel the phone vibrate when a call comes in.  This is important as I work in the aviation field an it gets quite noisy.  Just be carefull not to let anything touch the inside of the screen shield.  This will diminsih the sensitivity of the touch screen.

Cyclops case is still going strong.  Dropped phone twice and it just bounced and was fine.  Friend at work dropped his Droid X 20 feet from the tail of an aircraft with an otterbox defender case and the phone survived without a scratch.  These cases work and offer awesome protection.  Laugh
