Unable to Download Apps

Wow, this forum is dead or is just me?

At anyrate, here is the answer that worked for me. 

Settings>Applications>Manage Applicataions>Download Manager 

Then click on 'Clear Data'

If download manager doesnt come up, you can bring up your menu on Manage applications, and click on filter, select "ALL".  Then you can f ind your Download Manager.

As this download unsuccessful is so common a problem and it is such a huge deal (NO ACCESS TO APP MARKET???) we should turn the solution to that problem into a forum sticky.

Who can do that? It's such a common problem and there are so many people with Vibrants looking for the answer. Keywording the answer will also lead many Vibrant users to this community where they can join the site and contribute.

Next to the GPS thing, which has been fixed for most I gather, the Download Unsuccessful error is the biggest Vibrant problem out there and the bogus answers are so many.

I am having the same problem here. Otherwise this is a great phone. Just tried this and it seems to work:

Applications-->Settings-->Applications-->Manage applications-->Filter: All-->Download Manager-->Clear data
