I just received a 3.5MM TV Out cable for my vibrant.
I love it.. I would recommend buy this cable from amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Samsung-Captivate-Fascinate-Vibrant/dp/B003YTL8C8/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1284181953&sr=1-1

It gives great Quality and Audio and dig the 90 degree pin.

I recommend getting a cable for the tv out function.

I have received 2 messages on why their cable does not work.
The cable i purchased came from RND Power Solutions and would recommend only purchasing from them.

Amazon has a lot of shaddy sellers that are selling a cable that looks like RND but doesn't function properly.

The last emailed I received the person purchased from BargainCell and the cable did not display video and the audio was fuzzy.

There are cables 3.5mm to 3 RCA that the yellow is not in use which is verry odd why people would sell a cable that doesn't work? They consider it a Audio cable not Audio + Video.

Don't waste the money on cheap cables the RND version is $9.99 and does work.

Radio Shack for $35 is over priced if I can get it on amazon for $10....

At least it works for you... RND Power Solutions is Bargain to that though.

First off when you plug the cord into the tv you need to switch the red and yellow... the only way it works. On the phone go to menu> settings> display> tv out> check the tv out box. Tv system should be set to NTSC. Plug the cord into the phone and it should come up on the tv. Also be sure that the tv is on the input that the phone is plugged into.

Ok. I made sure that my setting are correct. I also switched the yellow and red and that didn't change any thing. What now?

Sorry, don't know what else to tell you. It works for me every time. Could be the phone... See if T-Mobile will do an exchange  for you.

Well I bought my phone off of craigslist. But I do have it insured by t mobile and I dont want to pay 150$ to get a new one.

I took both my cables over to a friends house and tried them on his vibrant and we got the same results as per my phone. Drewdude, would it be to much to ask if you could make a short video of how this all "works" for you haha?????

thanks guys

Hey EmailCrasher,

Sorry you are having issues with this.  One thing I was going to suggest is for me it kept not working no matter what I tried and what ended up fixing it was the jack on the phone looks like it is all the way in when in fact it is not so I had to really push it in and make sure it was all the way in.  You might give this a try and hope it works.
